Brisbane convention and exhibition centre

We have been fixing all the gardens around the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. The planting is always the easy part but the more important work has been fixing the soil and automating the irrigation system so it looks after it self. Still early days and its winter so not seeing much new growth and despite people stealing some of the plants we are looking good.

The main feature of this garden will be a larger leafed Begonia which will start forming up better with the warmer weather. Under a fig tree so a so we have a lot of competition for nutrients but plants like the blue ginger, brazilian walking iris and the silver lady fern will go well in these conditions. The heliconia has just started to flower so there will be things flowering year round.
