Stone and Wood St Lucia

All Materials for this project had to be carried down by hand and in buckets. Approximately a minimum of 20 tonne of materials had to be carried 55 meters down from the top of the property at St Lucia Brisbane.

The stairs had to be constructed to get down the back as it was too steep before any thing could be built. There was no machine access so all had to be dug by hand including the footing for the walls.

A very low maintenance garden with several lilly pads of plantings to look after. Garden is irrigated by a gravity fed tank system. A Bee hive to come soon. All construction was built by 1 person, Brendan and his dog Gigi.
