Bardon Pool and Deck

Before shot with some simple ground markings to see where the block retaining wall and the pool could sit in the landscape. Quite a steep slope of nice grass but very unusable land.

I built the wall up to 1 metre in height to catch the level. Then we excavated the land and created a level pad to put the pool on.

Pool has been built, took 2 days, then framework and posts have been added to start the construction process.

Another block wall had to be built for the top joists to sit on as wood would have rotted against the pavers over time.

Tree had decided to come down in a crazy storm but lucky for us it landed on one of the main posts that it was built into. You can see the tree just resting on the glass pool fence.

Finished product with a new Teddy Bear Magnolia.
